Provisional
Patent Application (PPA) includes a description of your
invention and a drawing. Although a PPA is filed with the USPTO, it is
never made public, and it expires after one year. A PPA allows you to
claim patent pending and it sets a priority date for filing of a regular (non-provisional)
patent application. |
